# Chris is a Stanford-educated tutor with over 10 years experience tutoring math to students of all abilities and levels, from pre-algebra and middle school all the way through college algebra, calculus and the SAT. In that time he got a lot of experience learning how to explain this stuff in a way it actually makes sense to normal people, and he brings that experience to his videos, whether you are in class now or preparing for GED.

**How to prep for GED using ThatTutorGuy.com -- ** The table below contains a list of all the topics you'll find on the GED test. In the right-hand column of the table are links to all the videos on our site that you'll want to watch to cover those topics.

# GED Math

**About the test:** The GED math test covers Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. It is administered on the computer and is timed.

**Calculators:** There is also a calculator provided on the screen during the test. It will be very similar to what you might have on your phone (not an app, just the basic calculator function) or as the one on your computer. You will also be given a reference sheet with basic formulas.

##### GED Reference Sheet

**How to Study:** Start by taking the official practice test using the link provided below. Use the calculator on your computer to give you practice.

After you take the test, score yourself to see where your weaknesses are and use the table below to find the right video you need to brush up on or re-learn the topic. Of course, if you have unlimited time view them all!

Once you've studied, retake the test to find out where you've made improvement and where you still need work. You can retake the test as often as needed.
